Our Organization

Sac Event Crew is a volunteer group dedicated to assisting all events produced by Visit Sacramento and its family of brands. Members of the Sac Event Crew will assist with several large-scale events including the Amgen Tour of California in May, Farm-to-Fork Celebration in September, and other exciting activities throughout the year. New Sac Event Crew members will join the existing 4,600+ registered volunteers who logged more than 12,000 volunteer hours in 2018.


Sac Event Crew promises to welcome and appreciate dedicated volunteers who want to share the success, camaraderie and pride of our community events.


Visit Sacramento (previously known as the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau) was established in 1927 to strengthen the positive awareness of the City and County of Sacramento as a convention and visitor destination. The organization strives to increase revenues and stimulate economic development and growth for the community in a variety of ways, including (but not limited to) partnering with local businesses, marketing the destination to meeting planners, and putting on large-scale events that draw visitors to the region. These diverse activities are represented by the organization’s management of its various brands, including Farm-to-Fork, Sac SportsSacramento365, and Sac Event Crew.
